In 1993, after proudly serving in the Army for 31 years, Mack Yaussy, along with his second son, Brian, started a modest and humble power washing business.
The oldest Yaussy brother, Kevin, joined Nuance in 1995, after gaining experience working with various custom home builders in Northern Virginia, as well as working for large commercial painting companies on the west coast.
The youngest Yaussy, Jason, has also been active with the company throughout its history, wanting to be like dad and big brothers when he was young, and eventually developing a passion for finish carpentry and custom designs.
By 1996 Nuance had evolved into a production painting company, working primarily on new construction projects. Over the next 12 years Nuance continued to grow and expand their residential painting and remodeling divisions, building relationships with homeowners, real estate agents, property managers and designers. Nuance has always thrived on its compassion for people, and we as a company enjoy transforming houses into homes, making them more functional, comfortable and beautiful.
Today, Nuance continues to be family-owned and operated. With Kevin and Jason working together to help carry on there father Mack's legacy. Nuance is a Virginia Class "A" Licensed and Insured contracting company. Since opening in 1993 Nuance has treated every client like part of the family, and it is this personal service and attention to detail that sets Nuance apart from our competition.
Nuance takes pride in all that we do - from the smallest handyman or painting project, to major kitchen and bath remodels. Nuance has a diverse workforce with extensive experience in all trades, and we work only with the finest craftsmen within each building trade.
